“Design Department” is the name that CHANGErs exclusively gives the Beautifying team at CHANGE. As a top one welcomed person at CHANGE in every campaign and event season, the “arts team leader” also harbors his own confessions and stories.

What is the daily work of a Designer at CHANGE?

Collect the brief in the morning, come up with the idea at noon, read the feedback while crying and fix the products before deadline in the evening and pray that no one changes the brief anymore. Besides, I am also the one who draws, collages, advises “construction” of drawings, creates impressive “majestic works” for CHANGE.

What’s fun about working at CHANGE?

I’ve been working “for passion” for CHANGE since the time I didn’t know anything about CHANGE until now. Although it’s not long, it’s enough for me to understand and love what CHANGE is pursuing. What I like most is probably the fact that every day, every week, every month I have to face new challenges. CHANGE’s campaigns never settle in the comfort zone but always “jump out of the box”. Every day is a new idea, a new problem to be solved. So even though there are days when my brain becomes flat (like a koala’s brain) because of designer’s block, my job at CHANGE is very fun and I’m still motivated to continue to “fly” with CHANGE with new ideas. There are many times when people in the office ask if I’m ok, I still say I’m fine, still happy (in pain with deadlines)

There are campaigns that I feel like it lasts forever because sometimes for a long period I only received briefs to design for the activities of that campaign. At times like these, I just wish CHANGE would continue to do more new campaigns, because “my tears are wiped with a new campaign”

What is biru’s wish to “baby” CHANGE on the occasion of his 9th birthday?

I wish CHANGE to go through the next year and the following years with more and more monumental and groundbreaking campaigns that leave a deep and unforgettable mark on the hearts of environmentalists in particular.and the public in general.
